Please understand that while we strive to meet your expectations, unforeseen issues can and do arise in logistics. Driver's schedule, mechanical issues, weather, and road conditions can play a part in the pickup. We will contact you if any delays do arise. Delivery Schedule:Please communicate with your DASH Auto Logistics representative regarding availability and expectations for delivery. Please understand that while we strive to meet your expectations, unforeseen issues can and do arise in logistics. Driver's schedule, mechanical issues, weather, and road conditions can play a part in delivery. We will contact you if any delays do arise. There may be a situation where the vehicle will arrive at the destination prior to you arriving home. In this case, we would need a contact along with the phone number of a trusted party, of age, to sign for the unit. Insurance: DASH Auto Logistics, contracted and trusted carriers carry full insurance while loading, unloading and during transport. We do not cover windshield or body damage caused by standard road wear, uncontrollable debris, and weather conditions. Pre-sale inspection reports are required in the event of damage claims. Important: the vehicle should also be insured through your own insurance agency. Inspection: The driver will do an inspection at the time of pickup with yourself or a designated adult, and then again at the time of delivery. If you require a copy of the signed BOL, please contact your account representative at DASH for a copy. ANY DAMAGES NOTICED MUST BE CLEARLY LISTED ON THE BILL OF LADING BEFORE SIGNING. This is your receipt that the vehicle was delivered to you in the condition stated on the inspection report. Failure to do so will result in a loss of claim. But in the world of planning, they can and do occur. Please take a moment to review the valuable information below and distribute to your team, as an educational piece that will prove to be invaluable. Please remember never to pay the driver directly. DASH will process payment at time of loading. An explanation of the bill of lading (BOL) process:A BOL is a contractual agreement between DASH Auto Logistics, you, and the driver. It serves as a protective document for you. If properly done, the BOL will outline the condition of the unit(s) at time of pick up, and at the time of delivery. In the event of claimed damages, this valuable document will serve as evidence of where responsibility falls. If a BOL is singed as received in good condition, damage claims cannot be processed. This means the transportation costs and repairs will remain your responsibility. It is highly recommended that you carry insurance coverage on any unit(s) being transported to mitigate any claims that may occur. Shipping:Prior to loading, the drivers will do a physical inspection with you, or the appointed person on all units being transported. Any pre-existing damage must be noted in detail on the BOL before signing and printing your name. The driver will take photographs of each unit; all four sides while including the top. It is highly recommended that you do the same. If the pickup location requires a copy of the bill of lading, please contact your account manager at DASH. Receiving:Once the driver unloads the vehicle(s) at the time of delivery, they are mandated to do a physical inspection with you, or the appointed person on all units being delivered. It is important to do a detailed inspection of the unit(s). Road grime is common during transport, so please take your time and demand that any damage found is noted on the BOL before signing and printing your name. DO NOT SIGN ANY BILL OF LADING UNTIL YOU ARE SATISFIED. DOING SO RELEASES THE DRIVER AND DASH HARMLESS OF ANY AND ALL CLAIMS. Drivers are instructed to take photographs of each unit; all four sides including the top. It is highly recommended that you do the same. If the delivery location requires a copy of the bill of lading, please contact your account manager at DASH. At any point you may have questions during this process, please contact your account representative for assistance.Payment Agreement(Required) I have read and agree the following:PAYMENT AGREEMENTI agree to pay DASH Auto Logistics the amount due for the transport at time of order, using the payment method indicated in the following DASH Auto Logistics Credit Card Authorization Form. The transaction will be from PB&J Transport, our parent company, on your credit card statement. I understand and agree that a 3% processing fee will be added to the final cost of the charge.
